Sat Tal literally meaning the 7 lakes is just at a distance of 14 kilometres from Bhimtal. The beautiful lakes are surrounded by thickly forested hills, covered with oak, rhododendron and pine trees. One can enjoy the beautifully surrounded lakes in pedal boats or oar boats.
Naukuchiya Tal is another lake worth visiting nearby Bhimtal. The lake with nine corners in a distance of 5 km from Bhimtal also offers boating and horse riding.
The alluring view of the lake and the verdant mountains along with the twinkling lights at night seen in the distant Haldwani City make Bhimtal a perfect view point.
