Bhimtal activities

Bhimtal has been organising National Kayaking and Canoeing Competitions. Recently, the 20th national Kayaking & Canoeing championship was held successfully in the month of October. Many swimming championships take place in the long spread Bhimtal lake. People flock from all over India to be the part of the game.
Another interesting activity Bhimtal offers is horse riding. One can get the fun of horse riding on a small pony horse or big desert horse riding around the lake. It is also an ideal place for those who fear the horse riding but just want a snap sitting on a horse.
Bhimtal is the exact location for the paragliding lovers and experts. Just in a distance of 3 km from the Bhimtal lake is the gliding resort with a name Tandem Joy Resort. One can absolutely feel the thrilling experience of paragliding flying high in the cool winds of Kumaon hills.
