How to reach Bhimtal....The hilly industrial centre of Kumaon region, Bhimtal, is well connected by road to major places of India. so reaching Bhimtal is not a big deal.The supply market of eastern Kumaon hills, Haldwani, is just 28 kilometres from Bhimtal. The queen of lakes, Nainital, is at a distance of 22 km. One can get private and government buses plus the taxis and jeeps from the Haldwani city for Bhimtal. Taxis ply frequently from Haldwani (28 km), Ranikhet (61 km) and Almora (66 km) since Bhimtal is on the Haldwani-Almora-Ranikhet road.
The nearest rail station is Kathgodam station in a distance of 23 kilometres where one can get trains to Delhi and other major Indian cities like Kolkata, Deheradun, and Gorakhpur etc.
The Pant Nagar Airport is the nearest airport at a distance of 60 km from where one can get flights to Delhi and many other Indian cities.
One can choose either of these mode to reach Bhimtal according to their budget and convenience.
